A meeting format for deep, personal expression and reception. Provides a safe space for honest and considered expression, without fear of being interrupted - good for getting to know people, how they're feeling and addressing conflicts and issues. Participants gather in a circle in a comfortable, peaceful environment. A facilitator explains that the meeting will use a Talking object and places one in the center of the participants. The facilitator goes on to explain that all expression is personal and that dialogue is not encouraged. The object is passed around the circle before being placed in the middle, where people can take and return it as desired.
