Residents and non residents

first ideas from 2017-01-16 Wurzenmeeting in Harzgerode

these are only Guidelines/Policy about procedures and how things should work. Single cases can be talked about in meetings.

everyone is welcome to contribute
also a place where you can fully concentrate on your project
everyone can send mail to the WuppHaus
Should not be misused as free living place

Residents (ideas):

from the feeling:
-build a secure circle with a lot of trust
- see the WuppHaus as home, feeling of belonging (with exceptions)
-good mutual understanding, wellbeing
-the project is important to them, carry it
- have the feeling to contribute (take on responsibility, take part in meetings, decisions making processes, contribute to the vision of the house)
→ Idea to make a (how-)do-I-contribute-round: self assessment and feedback from others. How strong do I contribute? How can it be balanced? Who could domore or less?

from the practical side:
-more responsibility, take certain decisions,
-Wish for a group decision that is able to say not to integrate a person (Laurina→ maybe only certain behavior, list it and be clear about it)
- stay often and regularly at the place (min 6-9 months a year?)
-you automatically become a resident/get asked if you want to e.g. after staying for 3 months in a period of 6 months (or not?)
- are members of the association (well reasoned exceptions)
-are part of the shared economy

How to become
...a non-resident again:

If you say it,
notification if you still want to be part and then an automated process if no reply

...resident for the second time
shorter waiting period

What are rights and duties of residents and visitors, guests?
How can a list with tasks be made accessible?

non-residents, Visitors, Guests:

can also access some money from the shared economy, talk with a resident first, -> more knowledge of what is possible without money
Desired participation also by guests (meetings, the how-do-I-contribute-round)

Association: (the idea is to have two)
the first one owns the house and handles fix costs (water, electricity, gas,...)
the second association that handles all except the house itself (gemeinnützig, charitable assiciation)
residents are members → make sure there are enough people in the association so that the association doesn't become extinct
