Questions for specialists
On Monday, 12.September 2016, we will have a call with some specialists for Genossenschaften, Stiftungen etc.
Goals:
- Get a building, have this as safe as possible (basically demarketize it)
- Apply for public as well as private funding
- Maybe add private funding from us in the beginning; amout unclear
- Have the legal entity care for the building as well
- Having as little money involved for organisational things
- Do not multiply the money by investments, renting out, etc. (We ONLY collect money that is voluntary given to us)
Stiftung
As the Stiftung needs enough initial value to be able to act on its purpose, is it also possible to have the initial value mainly through land and buildings? How much money is the expected initial need when we have a purpose like "Provide and maintain buildings for volunteers who work towards the yunity vision"?
Can we get free of property tax? (living room is normally explicitly excluded - but maybe as this is the whole purpose of the stiftung it is possible?)
Can the whole purpose be "collect common buildings/landscape"
Genossenschaft
The cost of establishing a Genossenschaft are relatively high in respect to our expected spendings (e.g. 60k Euros for a house + little cost in renovation and following 5k Euros a year for running costs)
