Need-to-know before you arrive.

• WuppDays #8 starts on 2016-06-13 at Mühlenweg 1, 99439 Heichelheim (near Weimar).
• Contact: Bodhi Neiser (+49 160-5535078) and Douglas Webb (+31619036700) will have their phone on if you need someone to talk to.
  
• We will mainly be sleeping in tents at these summer WuppDays. But there are also inside sleeping rooms available. Bring a tent if you have one! Contact Bodhi Neiser if you would prefer to sleep in a room inside.
  

• Please bring your own sleeping equipment (e.g. sleeping bag, camping mat, air-bed, etc) if you can, as there is only a limited number of mattresses and we’re not sure about the availability of sheets or blankets.

Arriving

by hitch-hiking:

Get off at exit 49 (Weimar), there is an "Autohof", a gas station very near the exit in Gelmerode, so people can drop you there if they are continuing on the A4. You can hitch into the city from this gas station, or get a bus from the stop "Gelmerode" that will bring you to Weimar Busbahnhof or Weimar Hbf. Bus 6 (see below) also stops at Gelmerode.

by train/bus:

Direct buses from Weimar Hbf. to Heichelheim (Bus 217): Mo.-Fr.: 6:20 am , 12:35 pm, 16:40 pm

Saturday: 12:10 pm

Sunday: no bus

Bus 216 runs 5 times a day from Weimar bus station (Busbahnhof), 6am, to 18:30pm. Regular stops are "Großobringen" and "Daasdorf" which is both about a 25 min. walk. Ask the bus driver to drop you at "Abzweigung Talsperre Heichelheim" which is in between Großabribngen and Daasdorf and about a 15 min. walk to the Mill.

Bus 6 runs about every hour to "Ettersburg", get off at the stop "Zur Warte", its a 3 km walk to the Mill.

We also have a car available to pick people up, should you arrive outside this bus schedule. If you have a train/long-distance bus booked, please tell us (Bodhi Neiser wehn you will arrive. Same if you are stuck hitchhiking somewhere near, then just call  +49 160-5535078.

Resources

• Cooking and eating: There is a small indoor kitchen available. We also built an awesome outdoor kitchen in a tent, fully equipped with stove, sink and furniture!
• Internet: "wuppdays", password: dragonlove.

• Food:  No dumpsters in the direct surroundings, but we can use a car to make a bigger dumpster diving tour around once a week. We also have supplies sent to us from Kirchheim and dumpster diving spots in medium range accessible by bike.
• Bikes: 2 bikes with trailers Matthias Larisch, Tilmann, some more individual bikes (see details here). One electric bike for us to use.
• Warm shower: In the 'Mädels'-Toilet on the second floor. All other showers are cold.

Guidelines

• Clean shower after use: Take hair out , clean floor if there is dirt on the ground, hang curtain in a way it can dry.
• Don't turn the faucets to warm, because it will cause leakage in the cellar! Keep them on cold, which is usually on the right.
