2016-09-21 WuppHaus concrete steps

How do we proceed for getting the first WuppHaus? There has already been the idea of a crowdsourcing video, but let's first plan the next steps.

Doug: Hear your thoughts and connect with you.

Bodhi: I think we don't have any other good opportunities right now. So we should reach out to a lot of people to let a fitting house come to us. How do we handle the situation now?

Paul: Interest in just staying with a group of people that really wants to live in the building straight ahead / participate in the (re)building process. Organise that group.

Matthias: Agrees to having a concrete group of people first, or having a concept paper and find people who could live under that concept first.

Fritz: Would like to start with even smaller steps, first find some people who want to live together and then move in somewhere (with maybe just 5 people).

Matthias: Disagrees partly - for me owning a building is much more useful to be able to modify the building in the way it fits us best. We don't need more social experience together as we know each other already quite good.

Doug: Would that (Fritz) basically be something like securing permanent WuppDays?

(yes)

Fritz: Continue looking for a house, people can come by and see how we are living together. We already live the concept of a WuppHaus.

Matthias: Sounds like a small house where we cannot do all the things we would like to (live our concept, have a big kitchen, open the house for other people, building workshops etc.)

Fritz: Agrees, but I don't see this happening now.

Bodhi: Example, just move to Saasen (Freiraum) for a couple of months, to stay together and concentrate on what we want. But I see that this is not the space we are looking for. Partially I could do things also in a temporary space but not all. I might get bored in this temporary space (few people, not as cool as the wupphaus) so might be away much more

Doug: Summary: Either of those options would be taken by each of those as it seems. Can we - without losing energy - focus on both?

Paul: Start working on a concept and at the same time start looking for a house. Having WuppDays with the focus on having a WuppHaus. Invite people who have houses.

Paul: Another thought on getting a house is going somewhere else (church, rainbow gathering, conference, ...) as a group, presenting us and our wish.
