Eine Abholung findet statt, wenn Foodsaver zu vorher vereinbarten Terminen in kooperierenden Betrieben erscheinen um überschüssige Lebensmittel zu retten.

Die organisierten Abholungen sind einer der wichtigsten Aspekte von foodsharing und integraler Bestandteil der Organisationsstruktur. Durch die Plattform koordinierte Abholungen befähigen Jeden und Jede, der und die unser Selbstverständnis teilt, sich aktiv gegen Lebensmittelverschwendung einzusetzen.
