Room numbering/naming

Room numbering/naming

We wanted to come up with a clear and logical room numbering schema, so that every room can be referred to transparently and easy to remember.

Contents:

General idea

Schema: <house>-<floor>-<room>

Room count starts from rear entrance, counter-clockwise. We assumed this as most common visiting order. Rooms that are above or below each other will normally have the same number too (e.g. K20-0-1 is below K20-1-1), basements and attics will probably deviate from this.

"#" indicates half floor above (e.g. toilets in staircase)
