Video ideas
Ideas for video material serving different purposes, of hopefully any purpose at some point..
Food waste horror video
Arno Döpper came up with the idea to create a short clip, that shows food waste using the typical stylistic devices of old horror movies.
This idea was created in the context of how to make sure, that certain foodsavers are reliable, and was thought to be shown automatically to foodsavers, who missed a pick-up.
Black and white, we see a dirty industrial waste container, dramatic cuts bring us closer to it, the lid gets opened and we see a hand holding some perfectly fine product (an apple, a zucchini, whatever). More dramatic cuts, this time in slow-motion, bring the hand closer to the bin, let the finger open and in the end the product begins to fall. the sound of psycho in the background and a horrified scream in the end give the scene the appropriate flavor of horror. Cut before the product falls completely. Dramatically serious off-screen voice says something like "YOU could have prevented this tragedy! YOU could have been the savior in this story! But YOU chose to let this innocent living being die... a second death."
This, of course, should be made so ridiculously over-the-top dramatically, that it's clear not to take it too seriously...
Helicopter dumpster diving video
Janina Abels and Tilmann came up with this idea, which basically started as a joke.
WuppDays behind the scenes
fritz holscher already did something like this, when he first worked on the invitation video for the Kirchheim II WuppDays, but edited out most of it, to shorten the invitation.
Still, various contributors like Janina Abels and Chrisi (and you..?) really liked the idea and would love to see specifically dedicated videos about this topic!
