yucon

The yucon is a self-organized event to turn your dreams into reality. It will be organized and hosted after the philosophy of unconditional sharing.

Website: https://yucon.yunity.org/ (under construction)

OpenSpace and WorldCafe will invite to rethink old habits, as well as finding approaches while being in a collaborative process and experience a enthusiastic way of learning. It supports the idea of co-creating free of limit, to break "Silos" organizations, where activists and interested people are often caged in. This goes together with the collaborative communication tool /wiki/spaces/~Paul+Free/pages/20545665

What?

A self-organized festival to experience freedom while creating a playground to support collaboration. It's about networking, creating new inputs and turning dreams step by step into reality.
It's about to experience expression in all kind of ways while being in a learning process of a communal way of life which supports the group as same as each individual with the goal to rise up as much potential as possible.
Building up an social architecture which can be easily copied, breaks down silos and supports groups as same as individuals. Improvisational theater, meditation, jam-sessions....etc. will help to create diversity on how everyone is observe and feel the world. The better we understand each others, the better we can support each other.

Why?

Seeds are like dreams. As soon they find fertile ground they grow. So let's dream together and turn dreams into reality.

The main reasons we're not able to manage turning dreams into reality comes from a lack of connections and being afraid of loosing the comfort zone. The yucon is trying to provide both. A network of change-makers from a diverse background as well as helpful tools letting you experience how beautiful it actual feels to leave the comfort zone.
A lot of organizations, groups but also individuals are kind of caged into silos. Closed networks which are limiting collaborations processes. Transparency, clear communication about the needs and a open network can support this.
Creativity is as well one o the most important tools of finding solutions for existing issues. So let's just have lots of fun while changing the world. (smile)

How?

Self-organized

The yucon will be what we're making out of it. Everyone is free to participate. Hierarchy supported by structure is not existing. Several tools will help to organize. Important and open question if needed are made with the help of Syscon. The main idea is to work after basic principles of DragonEye. Everything sounding like a rule is to understand as a guideline and is always open to be questioning.

Free of money

The whole organization as well as yucon itself will be free of money. Not just talk about the change, but to live the change we'd like to see in the world.

CoreGroup

This are the people organizing and creating the concept for the yucon.

ChangeMakers

This are all people participating on the yucon. Everyone has the same rights. There's no different then between CoreGroup and change-makers. While the CoreGroup is longer involved as well planning the yucon it makes sense to use the built up concept or to try to understand the reasons before settling something completely new up.

OpenSpaces

there will be spaces especially for all those which where not direct part of the organization of the yucon to run free. Which means that there will be spaces for every idea you can imagine and like to settle up on the yucon. The responsibility for each of those places are in the hand of those creating them. Fell free to be creative.
