In short:

• Staying and/or working in the space does not require any financial contributions. We are applying for fundings and accept private donations.

Principles:

• we agree to use as little money as possible and as much money as needed in order to work towards our purposes and principles (see constitution)

• We acknowledge, that by owning a house and being in a connected world at least for now we need to cover certain costs and we agree to do so.

• prevent waste and promote sharing and buying something is not sharing.

• be honest to ourselves and others in our relation to money

• overcome coercion (Zwang), fear of not getting enough, dept and exchange (I only help you, if you help me)

• enable money to go where it is needed

Criteria

• Money is used for the core costs of the houses (money that is needed for making possible to use it)

• We want to only buy things that are:

1. not possible to be shared, saved, borrowed or donated and really needed

2. at best not increasing suffering

3. healthy for humans and the environment

• Individuals are self-determined and can not be forced to to/not do something. Each one is asked to act at their best knowledge and belief (Wissen und Gewissen) and question themselves and others regularly and openly

Taking

• Money is not allocated to individuals.

• The members get access to the bank accounts.

• Money can be used on a trust basis following our principles, values and this policy.

• Find unanimous acceptance and if that’s not possible a score voting process (constitution process) If:

1. more than 100€ is used

2. you are a Visitor or Volunteers and want to use money

Collect all kind of reciepts please and put them on the adress board in k22 office- they are needed for the associations
cash money pot in the house? (or see what happens?)

Giving

• Noone is obligated to contribute financially to the space and its projects.

• Money is:

1. transferred to the Haus Kante Wurzen w.V. bank account in form of a donation or direct loan

2. aquired by funding

• Initiatives or support are welcome. Please contact a member.

Money talks:

During our annual vision talks (to be designed: at least once a year in February for two days) we will include money talks which include:

• personal reflection on our attitude towards money (current and vision)

• collective reflection on our attitude towards and how we handle money in the space together

• vision update: how we would like it to be and action plans for what should change including

• reality update: adapting in the collective layer
