The users will have a Feed on their starting page where they get information about the latest things that are going on around them and that might be interesting. There will be offers, needs, events and text posts of connected users. The feed will be optimized to show things that match the preferences and activity of the user.

MVP Pilot

  • Updates from Foodsharing Stores
  • Posts from Forums
  • Status updates from Connections (Friends)

MVP Final

  • Notifications about Feed elements
  • Disable Feed sources (e.g. disable one/more forums) - this won't show notifications and feed items from that source

Distant Goals

  • Suggestions about something that might be interesting for the user
  • Updates from other Communities than Foodsharing
