This policy outlines how the yunity project uses money. In short, this This policy states that the yunity project doesn't use money as an organization ; the yunity organization should avoid expenditure at all costs and if money is spent it is done through proxies and recordedwill not use any money directly. Avoidance of any use of money on behalf of yunity is the primary consideration. Donation by proxy transaction is a secondary consideration to acquire necessary resources in order to achieve the yunity Vision and Mission as soon as possible.

Herein,

  • 'money' refers to any currency, whether (e.g. bank notes, coins, bullion, BitCoins, electronic bank balance, etc.)
  • 'resource' refers to non-monetary resource (i.e. property, pens, food, vehicles, etc).

This is a set of actions for acquiring the necessary resources for the project where each yunity. Each action should be considered more preferable than the one following it.

 AvoidanceIf we can avoid money being spent for yunity to achieve it's mission and vision, we should. Not using money avoids us spending time and energy documenting and dealing with money. Avoidance of expenditure should

Avoiding the use of money on behalf of yunity should always be the starting consideration when acquiring resources.

  1. Do we need it? Necessity. Take a moment to consider whether we need this resource to achieve our goals.Can we get it without any financial transaction?

  2. Reclaim: Many resources are abandoned, discarded Acquisition without the use of money. The following sub-list of options is not extensive;
    1. Reclamation. Rescue the resource from being wasted, abandoned or unused.
    2. Construct: Construction. Make the thing resource from existing other available resources.
    3. Borrow: Many of the resources we need, others have.
    4. Donation: Some people have things they don't use. (Borrowing. Individual or organization who already has the resource lends it.
    5. Donation. Individual or organization who already has the resource donates it - this is different to someone actively purchasing a resource explicitly to donate it, see Donation by proxy transaction below).

No one is expected to spend money to purchase resources for the yunity organization. If a contributor, other use money on behalf of yunity. If an individual or organization wishes to purchase a resource to donate to help yunity to help achieve its goals, they can. achieve it's Vision and Mission, they can.
