Protocol1. Protocol
This is a set of actions for acquiring the necessary resources for the project where each yunity. Each action should be considered more preferable than the one following it.
1.1. Avoidance
AvoidanceIf we can avoid money being spent for yunity to achieve it's mission and vision, we should. Not using money avoids us spending time and energy documenting and dealing with money. Avoidance of expenditure should Avoiding the use of money on behalf of yunity should always be the starting consideration when acquiring resources.
- Do we need it? Necessity. Take a moment to consider whether we need this resource to achieve our goals. Can we get it without any financial transaction?
Reclaim: Many resources are abandoned, discarded Acquisition without the use of money. The following sub-list of options is not extensive;
- Reclamation. Rescue the resource from being wasted, abandoned or unused.
- Construct: Construction. Make the thing resource from existing other available resources.
- Borrow: Many of the resources we need, others have.
- Donation: Some people have things they don't use. (Borrowing. Individual or organization who already has the resource lends it.
- Donation. Individual or organization who already has the resource donates it - this is different to someone actively purchasing a resource explicitly to donate it, see Donation by proxy transaction below).

If an individual or organization wishes to purchase a resource to donate to help yunity to help achieve its goals, they can. achieve it's Vision and Mission, they can.

- Donor makes transaction.
- Donation. Individual or organization who purchased the resource dontes it.
- Record. For anything that is explicitly purchased
to donate - for donation to yunity, it is highly recommended to record the name of
purchaser- donor, date of transaction and a copy of receipt - if the donor consents. Recording these details is
optional but highly recommended; it is - not to glorify
donors - the donor but to
indicate - identify where yunity is still indirectly reliant on money
. Knowing where our dependencies lie will help us achieve even lower running costs in the future.Changes- - this knowledge will direct efforts into finding ways to avoid the use of money for acquiring the resource in future.
