Welcome to the Wuppdays #12 in WItzenhausen. This time we're hosted by a Transition Town iniatives. So it's a great place to network, learn from eacht other and support where we can.

About the place:
The Transition House is located in Witzenhausen. A little town pupular for having the first place in germany to only/fully study ecological agriculture. Which seems to make a great influence. Still while the city is small there are many iniatives doing social and commons work.
It's a great oportiunity to explore and opening room for transparent communication incl. to encourage more people of beeing active. As the group of TT is looking for support in building a working team maintaining the house. This incl. practical work like repairing broken showers, but more even support in creating this team inlc. transparent and welcomming communication.
The place is looking for people taking commitment.
The Transition House
What is happening here?
It's like a plattform developing transition. Internal like external. There's a meeting room in the first place used as a open cafe, jamsessions, meetings, workshops etc.
Also a great oportnunity finding out what you/we have to offer and hosting events.
rooms:
It has 4 floors hosting a diverse spectrum of groups. Encouraging with the different groups, and finding out how we can support each other is more then apprichiacated.
sleeping
There are 3 rooms which can are used as sleeping space. There are ca. 6 "normal" madresses in this moments, a couch to sleep on and camping madresses. Beside that there's in the so called hackingspace floor a living room incl. a sleeping couch to host 2-3 people.
food:
There are some supermarkets around with from time to time filled dumpsters. Cooperation are until now not existing. A market close by is also existing but we need to drive to get there. Can be bike or ca (which Hans-Christian Eick got offerd. If someone likes to work with iniative Solawi (community supported accriculture) that would be another possiblity to get some left overs.
social:
Everyone I met sofar is really open and friendly. The place was very welcomming to me. Communication between those who are already longer involved containes from time to time some unsolved conflicts. ...but just like very often if people work with different workingstyles/opinions etc. togehter. Nothing special. I just bring it up to invite you supporting in solving.
Why to have the wuppdays here?
It's directly where a couple of iniatives working with very simliar aims like yunity. Working for the commons. Every support we do here is supporting yunity even if it isn't directly supporting "our" group. It supports streghing the network around common economy and local initatives.
Also are here ecobytes and transformap located. Both fitting very well into the online plattform intention. Maxim from inventaire, very entheusatic about open data will be also here.
What to do while the wuppdays?
Well it's wuppdays, so everyone should feel encouraged to do what you feel to do. When it's about housework we're in this moment creating a kanban.
Already active projects/ideas part of yunity are:
- glocall yunity (discussing about concept and buidling webpage)
- foodsaving tool (continue to work on the foodsaving tool mainly by Tilmann)
- hosting events (ak asyl, küfa, yunity, freemarket, living and action spaces, desicion finding...etc. )
- communication within yunity (internal and external....incl. informationflow, exclusion/inclusion, online tools...etc.)
- mapping
- wupphouse meetings
- dumpter diving
- cooking
- facilitation
- documantation
- building a house team
- setting up foodsharing
- wildfood picking
- ....and much more, if we do so
Frameworks
As an addition to this two framworks which came out of the meeting from 03.11.2016. Normaly people pay or normaly people have moneyboxes for donation. With yunity it's different.

Timeframe:
This time the wuppdays containe out of 2 different timeframe:
The first one is fixed and:
When: now until 15.11.2016
After this there will be additional wuppdays. If they will happen will be decided around the 10.11.2016 depending on how well the different needs are getting served.
Timeframe for this would be at least 2 more weeks.
What you could bring with you:
- motivation
- openess
- sleepingbag (there are some blancets but not enough for all. If you don't have a sleeping back it's fine)
- camping madress (if you have one, bring it. If not also fine.)
- food (if you could manage to collect some food on you way to here, that would be great. In this moment we're missing potatoes, bread, pasta, lenses etc. update about this in the witzenhausen channel
