Summary

An official organization, that handles money, is necessary to develop a professional software.
The (moneyless) movement should exist separate from the organization but in synergy.

INTRODUCTION
I find as interesting as challenging to put together all our ideas and expectations ,
After the very interesting proposal submitted recently, some further discussion and personal consideration,
I would like to propose my version of how we should go on in order to get concrete and make our vision reality.

CASE HISTORY
Wikipedia empower people for share their knowledge and this benefit the all humanity.
It has a team of experience and motivated people that get paid for their work.
In addiction to his own platform it released an opensource software "Media Wiki" that everybody can download and use and customize.
All of this thanks to private donation and governments founds.
Those who download media wiki can customize the way they want,
but wikipedia it self, in terms of code, design, communication and organization in manager internally by people with experience and that share the same vision.
This way brought the all world a step forward. Wikipedia is free, people don't have to pay to use it and people that create article don't get paid.

STRUCTURE
Therefor I thing the best way to archive our goal is to set up two separate stream of contribution to our cause:

1) "the organization" that will take care of realize the platform (web app and mobile app), the external communication and the branding, advertise and take care of bureaucratic stuff .
2) "the movement" that will use, and share, the platform and the other tool we will create together to involve people and spread the yunity philosophy with all the freedom we want.

The first, "the organization", will act in a structured and "classic way", with roles, directives, deadlines, salaries, a fix office. (Everything according to the principles that bring us together)
and will involves only experience and hight skilled people to provide the best efficiency and result in a short period of time. (Developers, Designer, Public Relation, Found raising etc...)

The second stream of contribution will include initiative and actions (Eg: yunity festival, collaboration with United earth, WuppDays etc) and continue everything we are doing great in the most open spirit.

Of course both of that should always work in synergy.

WHY
My experience in creating web app taught me that issues and problems never miss and it's already challenging archiving the goals with a classic system. To make it real in a short frame of time:

- We need stability

- We need to provide allow developers and other contributors that want to commit 100% to commit to yunity without distractions or preoccupations.

- We need to make this “opportunity” attractive for people, and (IMO) it’s not only related to the values of the project (because there are a lot of cool project out there)

- We need resources

-We need to do it now.

-We need legal support and paper to access some kind of resources that are there and are currently used in a bad way or wasted.

Characteristics of "The organization"

Located in a big city, a capital to maximize the effect of our actions.

attract skilled contributor and media
use resources like university, students, libraries, exiting events (that are already there)
Involves stake holders and similar project and organization.
we should not "isolate" ourself.
Imagine doing the "Open wuppdays in Berlin", there would be al least 300 people each time. now we would have much more contributors

The benefit for the contributor (the salary if we want to skip the pseudonyms ) should be related to the real cost of living.
In the previous proposal there are consideration way too optimistic and don't consider many facts that are part of the regular expenses. The benefit should be enough for someone who may also have a family and don't want to share apartment.

Receive founds and donation only from entities alined to yunity philosophy.

Characteristics of "The Movement"
itinerant, welcome any kind of collaboration and not attached to bureaucracy and result expectation.
Furthermore also action that , for the moment, are considered illegal will not be cause problem since there will be no organization or group to denounce

FINAL CONSIDERATION

This is not the first proposal of this kind and, even if at first glance it seems a split, I really think that this approach would unite us even more,
Allowing each of us, and future wuppers, to contribute in the way the feel more happy and productive and, of course, to celebrate together the change we vision for the world.

The assumption that brought me to propose this approach is putting as main priority distribute a solid APP in a short frame of time.
Of course this proposal need to be defined in all his aspects. IMO is the best way to archive great results fast.
