Community-Relations

The WuppHouse is intended to be a place for people to get together, collaborate and experience community. In order to create an inviting and inclusive environment, we want to get in contact with already existing local communities, initiatives and everybody who is interest for various reasons, before we will be getting active in Bad Dürrenberg. 

We believe that is important to hear everybody's voice, to put every perception into account, to lay the foundation for trustful relationships. We want to ask in advance what other people in Bad Dürrenberg need, what they see missing in the city and what visions they wanted to actualize for a long time. 

Our goal is to support the local community by encouraging relationships, where people share unconditional, where they give, but don't expect anything in return, because they are collaborating in support of a common vision and they feel like being a part that makes it happen. In the context of the sharing economy, the concept of a community that shares unconditionally is innovative, it is the early rise of a movement that is changing the way people are interacting with each other (e.g. foodsharing.de /  couchsurfing.org). Therefore we aim be transparent, to document our experiences and share them by create blueprints that help others to start similar actions at their local place. We call this glocal: Local commitment for global responsibility.
