Welcome to the Wuppdays #12 in WItzenhausenWitzenhausen. This time we're hosted by a Transition Town iniatives(TT) initiative. So it's a great place to network, learn from eacht each other and support where we can.

About the place:
The Transition House is located in Witzenhausen. A little town pupular popular for having the first place in germany Germany to only/fully study ecological agriculture. Which seems to make have a great influence. Still while Although the city is small there are many iniatives initiatives doing social and commons work.
It's a great oportiunity opportunity to explore and opening room open rooms for transparent communication incl. and to encourage more people of beeing to being active. As the The group of TT is looking for support in building to build a working team maintaining to maintain the house. This incl. includes practical work like repairing broken showers, but more even support in creating this team inlc. transparent and welcomming also creating a team that is transparent and welcoming in its communication.
The place is looking for people taking commitmentwilling to contribute.
The Transition House
What is happening here?
It's like a plattform platform developing transition. Internal like external. There's a meeting room in the first place primarily used as a open cafe, jamsessions, café or for jam sessions, meetings, workshops etc.
Also It is also a great oportnunity finding opportunity to find out what you/we have to offer and while hosting these events. There's a recurring repair café in the hacking space. A cooking team brings people together and provides food on donation basis.
There's a co-working space, mainly used by ecobytes and transformap or a gallery for painting...etc.
rooms:
It has 4 four floors hosting a diverse spectrum of groups. Encouraging Engaging with the different groups, and finding out how we can support each other is more then apprichiacatedappropriated.
sleeping
There are 3 three rooms which can are used as sleeping spacespaces. There are ca. around 6 "normal" madresses in mattresses at this momentsmoment, a couch to sleep on and some camping madressesmattresses. Beside that there's in the so called hackingspace floor a living room incl. with a sleeping couch to host 2-3 people in the so called hacking space floor. All in all it fits around 15.
food:
There are some supermarkets around with , the dumpsters are filled from time to time filled dumpsters. Cooperation are . There is no existing cooperation up until now not existing. A market close by is also existing . There is a farmers market nearby, but we need to drive to get there. Can be by bike or ca car (which Hans-Christian Eick got offerdoffered). If someone likes to work with iniative the initiative Solawi (community supported accricultureagriculture - CSA) that would be another possiblity possibility to get some left overs (everything biological.)
social:
Everyone I met sofar so far is really open and friendly. The place was very welcomming welcoming to me. Communication between those who are already longer involved containes contains from time to time some unsolved conflicts. ...but just like very often if nothing special, as people work with different workingstylesworking styles/opinions etc. togehter. Nothing special. longer together. So there are some unfulfilled needs. I just bring it up to invite you supporting in solvingin case you are interested in contributing to the solving process.
Why to have the wuppdays here?
It's directly where There are a couple of iniatives working with very simliar aims like yunityinitiatives here that have very similar goals. Working for the commons. Every support we do here is supporting yunity even if it isn't directly supporting "our" group. It supports streghing strengthening the network around common commons economy and local initativesinitiatives.
Also are here ecobytes Ecobytes and transformap are also located here. Both fitting very well into the online plattform intentionconnected to the idea of creating a multi-sharing online platform. Maxim from inventaire (book sharing), very entheusatic enthusiastic about open data will be also be here as well.
What to do while the wuppdays?
Well it's wuppdays, so everyone should feel encouraged to do what you feel to dolike doing. When it's about housework we're in this moment creating a kanban, where we list the outstanding tasks nicely.
Already active projects/ideas part of yunity are:
- glocall yunity (discussing about concept and buidling webpagebuilding web page)
- foodsaving tool (continue to work on the foodsaving tool mainly by Tilmann)
- hosting events (ak asyl, küfa, yunity, freemarket, living and action spaces, desicion decision finding...etc. )
- communication within yunity (internal and external....incl. informationflowinformation flow, exclusion/inclusion, online tools...etc.)
- mapping
- wupphouse meetings
- dumpter diving
- cooking
- facilitation
- documantationdocumentation
- building a house team
- setting up foodsharing
- wildfood wild food picking
- ....and much more, if we do so
Frameworks
As an addition to this, two framworks frameworks which came out of the meeting from 03.11.2016 with folks from TT. Normaly Normal people pay or normaly people have moneyboxes for donation. With yunity it's different.

Timeframe:
This time the wuppdays containe out of contain 2 different timeframetime frames:
The first one is fixed and:
When: now until 15.11.2016
After this there will be additional wuppdays. If Whether they will happen will be decided around the 10.11.2016 depending on how well the different needs are getting served.
Timeframe Time frame for this would be at least 2 more weeks.
What you could bring with you:
- motivation
- openessopenness
- sleepingbag sleeping bag (there are some blancets blankets but not enough for all. If you don't have a sleeping back bag it's fine)
- camping madress mattress (if you have one, bring it. If not also fine.)
- food (if you could manage to collect some food on you your way to here, that would be great. In this moment we're missing potatoes, bread, pasta, lenses lentils etc. update about this in the witzenhausen Witzenhausen channel)

Beside the TT House Jon from ecobytes and transformap offered us his flat from the 7-15.11, so we have extra sleeping space. (3-4 people)
