- what the effects of the plants are (like medical treatments)
- at which places the plant usually grows
- informations about the nutrition (vitamins, minerals, ...)
What to consider when you go to pick wild herbs:
- take a knife or scissors so you don't damage the plant unecessarily
- take a robust paper bag or a box with a lid to store the plants (they are easily squeezed or parched)
- gloves are useful when picking stinnging or skin-irritating plants.
- take a scoop if you need some roots (do not bunk off plants by violent)
- only collect as much as you really need
- always leave some plants at the location to maintain their contiunance
- take care if there are insects on the plant, you might leave them where they belong
