House rules
- Keep it clean. A clean house helps us concentrate and feel at ease, as well as this being a condition of receiving the venue. Let this be a mantra on top regular cleaning activities.
- Please be quiet outside after 10 pm. We want to respect our neighbors and give them the peace and calm they need to relax and sleep. Additionally, this location hosts a lot of groups who are sometimes quite loud so neighbors may be already sensitized.
- Leave everything in it's place. Trying to find something that has been moved to another part of the building can be unnecessarily time consuming. Additionally, it will make the final clean much easier.
- Switch of lights when not needed. Every watt-hour counts!
- Please always sit down to pee. The reduction in gravity differential greatly reduces the kinetic energy of the incident liquid waste stream and subsequent 'back-splash'. The fermentation of urinal deposits on lavatory surfaces typically liberates gaseous mixtures malodorous to humans and requires additional cleaning effort for those valiant enough to take the task. Your understanding is appreciated. Update: There is a urinal in the building, indulge your urge to stand there!
