The decision-making work of Joachim ThomeBodhi Neiser and Douglas Webb and others was presented to the rest of the WuppDays #4 core team. Joachim gave an intro into decision making theory and Doug facilitated a Full Systemic Consensus full systemic consensus round on the question 'Which film should we watch next?'. It is worth mentioning that this question would be unlikely to make it into a Full SysCon full systemic consensus round normally, but it was decided to be better to use a trivial question that we would honour honor the decision for instead of asking a serious question where the decision could not be honoured. DW: I need to watch a film that is downloaded! No buffering. I want to watch a film that makes me laugh at least once. I value good cinema and wide group acceptance.

Nick Sellen:

  • need: either in English or with English subtitles

  • want: something not too depressing as I don’t think they are as good for group viewing

  • want: not on a slow online thing where it buffers every few seconds

Matthias Larisch:

  • Needs: fulfilling time to chill, recover and get some inspiration

  • Wants: have fun and like the movie.

  • Values: It’s a film. My values don’t apply :)
