The project in Dargeluetz is a projekt (its two to be precise) from the Schenkerbewegung that is now around 20 years old.
The place was foundet to be a social experimenting field and to build a basis for a life without money.

In the past years it has been a home for a lot of crazy people, ranging from constructive crazy to of destructive and violent crazy.
Especially the last 1 and a half years have been more a decline for the project.

Over being in Contact with Oeff Oeff and the board of the VFS (Verein zur Forderung des Schenkens) i entered the community in order to focus the build up of a commons based economy.

The place is quite big for the now six people living here.
It consists of 2 bigger Houses with an estimated total of 20 rooms and 4 buildings that are former stables (total of around 10 rooms) of different sizes.
A lot of the rooms are in a chaotic and unusable state, but can be restored in their old function or reshaped.

Infrastructure:

There is cold water in one part of one house (Nr. 13 a) which includes:

Watertoilet
Washing mashine
outside shower
fire heated bath

Warmth:
There are burning ovens of different kinds scattered over the area

Internet:
Ok internet in the community room (in Nr 10) via cable and wifi.

Cooking via Gas in House 10 in communal kitchen

Food:
regular deliveries from foodsharing like contacts, dumpsterdiving in Parchim and sharing by people that buy it. In summer also from the garden.

sleeping:
there are around 10 mattresses(some including a whole bed) We recommend bringing a sleeping bag and mattress.
We have around 7 mattresses with pillows and blankets available

Additional summer infrastructure:
Compost toilets
garden to camp
fireplaces
Outside shower

We are currently reorganizing and restoring the workshops into a usable state because there is actually quite some tools here.
