Personal Primary Objectives

This page aims to collect what the people, who identify as yuniteers see as their main goal or their most important current project and how it relates to their understanding of the yunity vision and mission.

Contents:

Vision: A society based on self-determination, trust and cooperation which allows people to live to their full potential and to preserve ecosystems for all living beings.

Mission: We encourage relationships where people can share their time, skills and resources, unconditionally. Through these connections and communities we prevent waste and raise awareness for a sustainable way of living.

My main project in yunity is foodsaving worldwide. I want to spread the idea of foodsaving and -sharing and connect as many active communities as possible to make them a real movement, as I see this as my version of the yunity mission. Apart from that I see my role inside yunity as a communication facilitator. I want the different groups and opinions to stay in contact and to understand and appreciate each other as much as possible. I want more clarity about what yunity actually signifies to then reach more focus and drive.

My main interest is promoting and enabling online multisharing, meaning creating a website where you can unconditionally give and receive help and items. My focus within yunity is the research team, where I can use my experiences as a social scientist to improve surveys, serve as a contact for research projects and give advice on all things relating to scientific studies.

My main objective at the moment is to fully dive into yunity, to fully understand what the idea, vision and mission is and to find out how I want to live this to me very obvious ideas. I see myself as a connector between worlds (the world of the doers and the thinkers, different cultures, ways of looking at things). At the moment I work on the onboarding process especially value teaching and am involved in the WuppHaus Wurzen.

My main project in yunity is the Karrot, a web application to help spreading foodsaving in communities around the world. Besides that, I'm interested in exploring a lifestyle that keeps the world in a good state for our children: researching techniques and mechanisms to reduce resource usage, optimizing the efficiency of human labor and improving perceived quality of life.

My main project in yunity should be the foodsharing.de website although I get distracted way too much lately. Currently, I am focussing on finding a solution for my living arrangement in the next years: A housing project that aligns to the values of yunity and implements very open spaces, communal living and allows concentrated working on different projects. I like to try and implement different concepts for daily used tools (showers, toilets, energy & water supply & usage) as well as support other yunity projects as good as possible.
